Charter flights are excluded. Any fare not listed above is not eligible to earn miles. Please note that the booking class of your ticket may not match the relevant class for earning miles.
The partner airline may, in accordance with its terms and conditions, exclude any fare that may have been used to get discounts on upgrades. Miles not automatically credited may be claimed over the period of 6 months after the flight date.
Airpoints members can use Airpoints Dollars to redeem flights by calling our Air New Zealand contact centre. Booking classes that are not mentioned are not eligible for accrual. Airpoints Dollars and Status Points earn is determined by the Partner Airline which operates the flight. Status Points are only earned on Star Alliance carrier operated flights. On a Partner Airline flight, Airpoints Dollars and Status Points may be earned on a flight by flight basis rather than a journey basis.
